The network of Run-Off and Channels characterizes the hydrologic system of the Region of Murcia in 9 hydrologic regions and it represents a starting point to tackle the problem of flood risk from a territorial and urban viewpoint.

It contains an identification of the run-off network and of the catchment areas associated to each section of the network, including the codification of the sections according to the Horton-Strahler scheme and an associated database with parameters of interest.

Endorheic systems and dams are also included with data referring to the surface occupied, capacity, etc.
